A special seminar titled “Mastering Communications: The Key to Personal and Professional Success” was held at Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology (RUET) on Wednesday (30 July). The event was organized by the Industrial and Production Engineering (IPE) Club at the university’s hall room.
Md. Abdul Quayyum, Head of Communications at UNDP Bangladesh, attended the seminar as the keynote speaker. In his address, he stated, “Communication is not merely the ability to speak, but a combination of listening, understanding, and creating influence. To achieve success in both personal and professional life, strong communication skills are essential. Alongside academic education, mastering communication is a must.”
The seminar was chaired by Professor Dr. Md. Mosharraf Hossain, Head of the IPE Department and Chief Advisor of the RUET IPE Club. He emphasized, “In addition to academic learning, proficiency in human communication is also vital for holistic development.”
The event witnessed active participation from both students and faculty members. Organizers expressed optimism that the insights and guidance shared by the guest speaker would play a significant role in shaping students’ academic journeys and future careers.
